MyAssistedLivingBusiness.com is an informational website for people interested in exploring assisted living business ownership. We publish educational content and host a free Early Access list for upcoming presentations. We are not a licensed assisted living facility, and this website does not operate or provide care services.

2. Information We Collect

When you join the Early Access list, we collect:

• First name and last name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional — only if you choose to provide it)
• Which page and form you used to register
• A record of your consent, including the consent text version and the time you submitted

We also automatically collect limited technical and usage information:

• Anonymous website analytics events (such as which page was viewed or which form was used), tied to a random browser session identifier — never to your name, email, or phone number
• A Cloudflare Turnstile security token used to confirm submissions are made by real people; this token is verified and then discarded
• Standard server logs and technical data needed to operate and secure the website

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Register you for the Early Access list
• Send a confirmation email welcoming you to the list
• Send future announcements when registration opens for our free webinar and related updates
• Respond to service-related matters (for example, an unsubscribe request)
• Understand aggregate website performance and improve the site
• Protect the website and registration system against bots, abuse, and security threats

4. Email Communications

If you register, we may email you a confirmation and, later, announcements about webinar availability and related Early Access updates. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time — no login required — and we will honor your choice for future promotional messages.

5. Service Providers

We work with the following categories of service providers to operate this website:

• SendGrid — delivers our transactional and announcement emails
• Cloudflare — provides website security (Turnstile bot protection), application hosting, and the database that stores registrations
• Vercel — hosts and delivers the website

These providers process information only as needed to perform services for us. Our website analytics are first-party (our own system, described above); we do not use Google Analytics or similar third-party analytics services at this time.

6. Cookies and Tracking

This website does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Technologies in use are limited to:

• Cloudflare Turnstile, our bot-protection service, which may set a short-lived security cookie to verify that form submissions come from real visitors
• Your browser’s session storage, used to keep our anonymous analytics identifier for the duration of your visit only — it is cleared when you close the browser tab

7. Information Sharing

We share information only with the service providers described above, and only as needed to operate the website, deliver email, and keep the system secure. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks or third parties for their own marketing purposes.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access-controlled cloud infrastructure, and bot protection — to protect the information you share. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information in line with industry practices.

9. Data Retention

We keep Early Access registration information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Early Access list, deliver the communications described above, meet legal or recordkeeping obligations, and honor your choices. If you unsubscribe, we retain the minimum record needed to respect your opt-out. If you ask us to delete your registration, we will remove it unless we must retain specific records as required by law.

You can:

• Unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the link in any email we send
• Request access to the information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your registration information, subject to applicable law and necessary recordkeeping
